Don't build your base in the end, nobody builds their bases in end. Doesn't make sense even if the end didn't reset, as the end is a more hostile dimension than the overworld. The nether and end are reset often (every few months) meaning new players can get resources easily, and you don't even have to travel far, especially if using /wild to find untouched land with forests and non-mined caves.
