Hello, new and have a few questions.

Hello, I'm Ratt. I am new to your server and I have a few questions if I may. Why is it I cannot craft some items like the crook or the bonsai pot? Seems a bit odd that they are in the list when I search for them but I cannot craft them. A few bugs too like on occasion my chests are empty when I open them and full other times I open them. Some of my chests only have slots for a single when they are clearly supposed to be a double. (figured out how to fix this issue ) When I craft a stone slab it appears to be a cobblestone slab instead but changes the skin to the stone slab after I place it. I have no idea if the item skin in my inventory being a cobblestone instead of a stone would interfere with crafting if I need to use it in a recipe because I have not needed to yet. I can't make a saddle either

I am happy to post my issues in the bug reports area but I wanted to make sure if they were known or unknown bugs before doing so as I am new and don't know the way around your server yet

Which version of minecraft are you on for your issues, the servers main version is 1.15 if that helps at all, also I believe you can’t make saddles but you do get them later on in the phases.

I'm not entirely sure how to check that or how to use different versions. I just use whatever's auto installed.

Skyblock 4 says it's using version 4.0.8 on the Twitch window. And I think it is 1.16.1 for minecraft. That's the drop down when you get to the minecraft window, right? Bottom left hand next to settings, says the forge version but when I click it there's another version. I think that's the minecraft one. I'll try to figure out how to change that to the 1.15 and see if that fixes my issues, thx!

1st Edit: Also, my Forge is currently version 14.23.5.2838. I figured out how to do it but I did minecraft version then realized I should have changed my Forge version. Can't play skyblock without Forge lol

2nd Edit: I have tried to change my version to 1.15 but it opens as classic Minecraft without the mods. I can join the server and hop onto skyblock but none of the mods are there .-. It's rather strange. I'll have to dig deeper into Google to see if I can't find my answer of what to change for it to work :/

Hello! I think I understand what issue you're having here.
Our server currently runs mostly vanilla minecraft and those items you listed appear to be from a mod.
I don't believe you're able to craft those because technically they don't exist on our server.
Any in-game items that aren't in plain, base Minecraft are not going to be usable on our server.

either this is a bot, or i'll just say this: im not sure you fully understand how modded works. or at all. Foxcraft is a vanilla server, not a modded server - it likely runs spigot while skyfactory 4 runs forge. and for you to join the server with forge, the server itself has to be running forge on the same version with the installed mods (presumably ex nihilo and bonsai trees 2).
basically, the server and client have to be the same in order to be compatible. you won't ever be able to craft items from curseforge mods in a vanilla/spigot environment.

I'm not a bot and yes, I have no clue how mods work. Blame me not being up with the times on video games lol. I didn't know this wasn't a modded server, I thought to join I needed to use Twitch to get Skyblock 4 to be able to play a skyblock server. My bad, thanks!

no worries, always a place to learn something. in vanilla minecraft, skyblock plugins exist, the ones you're thinking of are the skyfactory modpacks - completely separate things (for skyfactory modpacks both the client and server need the modpack installed, for skyblock only the server requires anything to be installed being plugins)
