Applications are only a start when management reviews you as an applicant. Discord, Forums and In-Game behaviour is always considered before applications are accepted. Therefore, do not be surprised if your application is denied if it is well written but the way you conduct yourself around the network is not something we would accept from a Helper. Punishment history and in-game activity is also something we will consider when accepting applicants, if your activity is limited or your punishment history is questionable you will be denied, exceptions will and can be made if needed by management always.
We require you to write a detailed response to most questions. You are convincing us to accept you as a staff member, as well as telling us the qualities that make you stand out over everyone else. Without detailed responses, there will be barely anything to convince us in accepting you as a staff member. Thus, we ask that you sit down, spend a few hours working on your application. If this will take you over a few days, then so be it, but please make sure to review your application for simple grammar mistakes. One requirement of Foxcraft staff is professionalism, we all make grammar mistakes which is fine, but when there are grammar mistakes throughout it comes off as unprofessional especially since there are grammar checker apps you can submit your application to that will correct them.
We hope that applicants are very familiar with the majority of the community. It is always appreciated, especially for players, that a member they know well is brought onto the staff team. We understand that not every gamemode is for everyone, but hope that applicants understand that while they are staff they will be expected to go into every gamemode at some point, whether that be to help, punish or engage with players. The more known you are, the more respected you will be to the community as a starting staff member.
Every month, you will have 2 weeks to work on and submit your application, this being the first 2 weeks of the month. For example, you will have from the 1st of every month until the 14th of every month to submit your application. The application form will then be locked, nobody else will be able apply that month. Over the next two weeks (being the 14th - end of the month) applications will be reviewed by selected staff members and management. Applicants who are successful will be contacted to join the staff team at the start of the next applicant period (being the 1st of the next month).
Denied applications will receive constructive criticism, this has been given to better you or your application for next time you chose to reapply. Please take the criticism and apply it, whether that to change your behaviour or to correct your professionalism on your application and around the network.
Foxcraft has set out some requirements for applications so that we can find the most qualified staff members. These are as follows:
- You must be the age of 14 or over
- You must be fluent in English with proper grammar and spelling. You are representing the server.
- You must have discord (we use this for staff chat)
- You should have more than 2 months in game experience
- You should have a relatively clean punishment record
- You must be competent, loyal, respectful and professional
- You must not already have a staff role elsewhere
- No active punishments
- Do not have 3 previously denied applications (starting September 2020)
If after reading all of the above you feel that you are ready to apply then great, you can find the application sub forum here (https://www.mcfoxcraft.com/forums/staff-applications.27/). If you have any further questions please do not be hesitant to message a member of the staff team.
Applications will reopen for the first time under this staff application system on October 1st 2020.
Kind Regards,
Chrisbeg [Foxcraft Management]
