Mob farm

I was trying to use my creeper spawner for a mob farm it worked fine during the night but at day it didn't work and I need it to work please give advice on how to make a proper mob farm

make a dark box around the spawner room because they need dark to spawn they dont spawn in the light

Dark cobble rooms usually work cx Good for getting your sword and axe levels up.
