The parkour system in Foxcraft is truly an innovational one with many challenges throughout it. Since parkour can be quite repetitive, they made it interesting again. With the way that the blocks appear in front of you as you progress, this allows for no skips, or cheeses for the parkour. Here are some tips and tricks, though, about how to improve your parkour gameplay.
Tip #1:
Only Sprint When Necessary
There have been many parkour runs I have done where I fail because I sprint on jumps where it is not necessary and walk off of the block in front of me. On those 2 block jumps, try not to sprint and it will help you a lot. Just make sure to jump on the 2 block jumps that go up a block as well. Also, don't try so hard to do this that you fail the easy jumps. Just do it when you think of it, and don't try excessively hard to not sprint. You may not be able to do this every time, and it will take some practice, but this will improve your parkour abilities.
Tip #2:
Take Your Time
The important thing in any parkour, is to take your time. You can go as slow and you want, just as long as you don't fall off! I myself have tried to speed through the parkour, but my best runs are always the ones where I go slower. On small one blocks jumps it is fine to go quicker, but just make sure you don't make a silly mistake.
Tip #3:
Use The Blocks To Your Advantage
Sometimes when doing the parkour, hard jumps will appear, jumps that can mess you up if you don't jump at exactly the right time. These can be avoided sometimes if you use the blocks around you to your advantage. Sometimes, the block that is 2 blocks ahead, will appear right next to you. Using this, you can make the jump from the block your on, to the block 2 blocks ahead (this won't count towards your score since it is not the next block) and then from that block jump onto the block you are trying to get to. This only happens sometimes, but when it does it can be very helpful!
Tip #4:
PRACTICE!
Practicing is one of the best things you can do for parkour! When I had just started out, I would get a score of around 15. That means that I would be failing on 2 block jumps! The more I practice, though, the better I get, and now I get an average score of around 35 and my record is over 70! I have achieved this in one day because I practice a lot. The more you practice the better you get and there is no way around it! Practicing is the best thing you can do to improve your parkour abilities.
