This is a Single hive farm that is modified in its design for the use of lights. Starting at the bottom I first make a dual torch burnout clock to assist in sending the products into the chest/barrel. If you have seen my dual torch burnout clock thread you may notice a slight design alteration, and this is to accomadate the hopper going into the dropper, (shown further down)

Now to add the Hive, grass, flower, and the method of collection to send items to the dropper. 2 hoppers leading into the dropper, then a rail on the hopper under the Hive. On this rail will go a hopper in a minecart. Do not break the rail, the hopper minecart works best on the rail to pull items through a solid block. (Foxcraft creative clears entites so no minecart in this pic)

Really a simple and easy to make contraption. Next is the design for comparing the Hive to see how much product is in it. Starting with a sligthly elongated honey/honeycomb design and then using repeaters to pull the power out of the blocks that the redstone dusts will be powering. The design is purpose built so the lights will be in line with the hive. The following pictures should show enough to assist in your efforts to build it;

That is all the components so now to put this build into yours. Design it however you like and enjoy knowing the level of capacity your hive is at whenever you want.

Hope this helps, have fun out there.
