This generator is only useable in the overworld or end dimensions due to the water requirements. Uses 5 soul soil, blue ice, and 5 water and lava buckets. The building materials can be almost anything.
I use waterlogged trap doors to aid in keeping the water foortprint as small as possible. Trapdoors around to contain the fluids and lessen the size of the generator.
The lava is placed on the top layer only, 1 bucket for each block space. The lava will flow towards the water and down. Once the lava is on the lower block space it will flow towards the blue ice and soul soil.
Hoppers under the soul soil connecting to a barrel aid in item collection. A row of blocks of some kind on top of the cobble would also aid in item collection, ( keeps items from collecting on top of the cobble while farming ).
The flower pot has part in this generator as well. While standing on the flower pot the player is the perfect height to mine both layers with minimal movement required.
This generator can fit into all kinds of builds and barely be noticeable. No piston noise or redstone of anykind exluding hoppers.
With an eff V diamond pickaxe it is easy gains so the only thing left to ask is , WHY?
*beacuse I am one of those players that does things slow and small scale. Nothing large and fancy like tnt blast chambers where this little generator would be sent to die.
*the generator is 5 blocks in length because that is the maximum reach with a pickaxe when standing as far forward as possible.
